Ingredients:
5x Red Apples
7x Phillippa's Cranberry Shortbread Biscuits
1/2 cup of Crème Fraîche or Sour Cream (not light)
7 heaped tsp Brown Sugar
1 tsp Orange Zest
Method:
Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius, fan forced
Core 5 apples with an apple corer and place in an oven safe baking dish
Crush 7 Phillippa's Cranberry Shortbread Biscuits until a crumble consistency
Mix Crème Fraîche, Cranberry Shortbread and Orange Zest with 2 heaped tsp of brown sugar together
Stuff the apples with this mixture until overfilled and spilling at the top
Sprinkle a heaped tsp of brown sugar over the top of the apples and cover the baking dish with foil or a lid
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 45 mins - 1 hour or until golden and the apples are soft
Serve with extra Crème Fraîche
